A PAIR OF 18-BORE FLINTLOCK OVERCOAT PISTOLS OF CONSTABULARY STYLE SIGNED W. PARKER, no visible serial numbers, for restoration,
circa 1810, with rounded 4 1/2in. barrels, flat sighting planes marked 'MAKERS TO HIS MAJESTY, HOLBORN' (rubbed, darkly stained), the muzzles with bevels to the edges of the planes forward of the fore-sight beads, solid top-tangs with no provision for rear-sights, beveled locks with sloping tails and signed 'W. PARKER' below the rainproof pans (both cocks broken, one frizzen missing its face, actions at fault), sliding safes, walnut full-stocks with slab-sided bag-shaped butts, brass furniture and captive iron ramrods (one ramrod throat absent)
